  • Downtown Sarasota   Main Street in downtown Sarasota boasts dozens of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. There are many special events throughout the year in Downtown Sarasota including live music, art festivals, motorcycle shows and parades. 
  • Rosemary District Association– The Rosemary District Association is working to develop the District as a Complete “Live, Work and Play” Neighborhood. Consider joining the RDA to get involved with the development of this unique and growing community.

  • Sarasota County Public Library  Excellent web site with many links to free reference resources. Use your library card number (it’s your password) to do even more detailed research. For example, search Newspapers and Magazines for the term “Renaissance of Sarasota” and see links to all magazine and newspaper articles which have mentioned the Renaissance. A great resource, and an excellent way for absent owners to keep track of Sarasota news.
  • Need to update this link. Sarasota County Arts Council  The Sarasota County Arts Council is the official umbrella arts organization of Florida’s Cultural Coast for Opera, Ballet, Orchestra, Symphony, Theatre.
  • John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art  The Museum of Art, built by John Ringling to house his personal collection of masterpieces, today features paintings and sculptures by the great Old Masters including and more. The European, American and Asian masterworks available here make the Museum of Art an awe-inspiring retreat. It is a palace for treasures emulating the footprint of Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, echoing its grace and grandeur. See special installations, as well.

  • The West Coast Symphony/Sarasota Orchestra      Sixty years in the making, the Sarasota Orchestra is the new Florida West Coast Symphony. With new series and new concerts, the Orchestra offers a whole new way to experience classical music.

You can search for any property in Sarasota County by address, owner, etc. There is a delay from when a property is transferred until it shows up in the property records, but it eventually gets published and is accessible from this web site by anyone.
  • Florida Condominium Statute  Florida state government web site that contains the on-line version of Chapter 718, the Florida Statute pertaining to Condominiums. It’s important to condo owners, and it’s all there.
  • National Hurricane Center Hurricane and Tropical Storm Information. Excellent link to the National Weather Service, tropical Prediction Center, National Hurricane Center. Very comprehensive historical and tracking information, indispensable when a hurricane or tropical storm is approaching.
